Websites for tradies in New Zealand

For plumbers, sparkies, builders, chippies, painters, roofers, drainlayers and every trade in between. A fast, simple site that turns a search into a phone call, designed in 24 hours and live in 72.

Already made, no sign-up. We design free homepage concepts for local businesses and send them over, ready to look at. Want yours? Send your business name and town. No account, no card, no call. Designed within 24 hours, live in 72 if you go ahead.

After word of mouth, they search your name

Someone’s neighbour says “ring Dave, he did our bathroom”. The next thing they do is search your name. If they land on an old Facebook page, a dead domain or nothing at all, they ring the next sparky or plumber who looks sorted.

You don’t need a big, fancy site. You need one page or a handful that says what you do, where you go and how to get hold of you, and loads fast on a phone with one bar of signal out on a job.

What goes on every NZ tradie site we build

Call and quote buttons on every screen

Most people looking for a tradie are on their phone, often mid-problem. A tap-to-call button and a short quote request form stay in reach wherever they scroll.

The suburbs and towns you cover, by name

“Servicing the wider region” tells nobody much. Naming the places you actually travel to helps locals see you cover them, and helps Google match you to searches like “plumber Rolleston” or “electrician Whanganui”.

Your licence and registration, easy to check

Kiwis can look up a Licensed Building Practitioner on the LBP register, an electrician through the Electrical Workers Registration Board, and a plumber, gasfitter or drainlayer through the PGDB. We put your numbers where people can see them.

Real jobs and real reviews

We use photos of your own jobs, before and after, instead of stock photos. We link your Google reviews, and any profile you already use on sites like Builderscrack or NoCowboys.

What you do, and what you don’t

Heat pumps but not solar? Renos but not new builds? Saying so up front saves you calls you can’t take and brings in the jobs you want.

Your Google Business Profile, tidied

Your Maps listing is often seen before your website. We check your hours, service area, categories and photos match what the site says.

How much does a tradie website cost in NZ?

Our fixed prices start at NZ$1,490 for a one-page site with call, quote and map buttons. Business, at NZ$2,490, suits most tradies: up to 6 pages, copywriting, a quote or enquiry form and local search set-up. Both are one-off prices. The optional care plan is NZ$49/month. For a wider view of NZ prices, see our website cost guide.

I get most of my work from word of mouth. Do I still need a website?

Word of mouth gets your name passed on. What happens next is a search. A clear site confirms you’re real, that you cover their area and that you’re easy to reach, so the referral turns into a call.

I already have a Facebook page and a Builderscrack profile. Isn’t that enough?

They’re useful, and we’ll link to them. But not everyone uses Facebook, directory profiles sit next to your competitors, and you don’t control either. A website is yours, it shows up when people search your name, and it puts your number one tap away.

Can you show my LBP, EWRB or PGDB registration?

Yes. We add your licence or registration number and link to the public register, so customers can check you in a few seconds.

Will it get me to the top of Google Maps?

Maps rankings mostly come from your Google Business Profile, how close you are to the person searching, and your reviews. We tidy your profile and make sure the site and the profile say the same thing. Nobody can honestly promise a Maps position, and we won’t.

How fast can it be live?

Your homepage design arrives within 24 hours of the go-ahead. The finished site is live in 72 hours, assuming quick replies on your side.

Do you work with tradies outside Auckland?

Yes, anywhere in New Zealand. We work by email, so a builder in Gore gets the same service as a plumber in Auckland.
