Cafe website design

Café websites with the menu, the hours and the way in

For small cafés, bakeries and eateries. A site that shows your food, tells people when you’re open and gets them to your door. Live in 72 hours.

People check three things before they visit

Are you open? What’s on the menu? How do I get there? If your website can’t answer those in a few seconds on a phone, people check the next café, or turn up to a locked door because Google had the wrong holiday hours.

A café site doesn’t need to be complicated. It needs to feel like your place, be quick to update, and make those three answers impossible to miss.

What a good café website needs

The menu as a real page

PDF menus are slow and fiddly on a phone, and hard to keep current. A proper menu page loads fast, can be read by search engines, and is easy to change when the specials do.

Hours you can trust

Opening hours on the homepage, with public holidays and seasonal changes. We make sure they match your Google Business Profile so nobody gets caught out.

Directions and parking in one tap

A map link that opens in their maps app, plus the useful stuff: parking, accessibility, whether dogs are welcome outside.

Dietary information

Clear labels for gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free options. People with dietary needs often decide where to eat based on this alone.

Your story and your food

Good photos of your food and space, and a few honest lines about who you are. That’s what makes a café feel worth the drive.

Ordering, catering and events

Links to the online ordering you already use, plus pages for catering, cakes or functions if you offer them.

Made for small-town and neighbourhood cafés

Plenty of cafés sit in small towns or on the road between them, where travellers search for “coffee near me” and locals want to know if you’re open on a public holiday. We design for cafés in New Zealand first, and in Australia and Canada too.

On the optional care plan, menu and hours changes are a quick email away, so the site stays as fresh as the cabinet.

Questions we get asked

Anything else? Email us and you’ll hear back within 24 hours.

How much does a café website cost?

Fixed prices start at $1,490 for a one-page site with menu, hours and map. Business at $2,490 adds up to 6 pages, ordering or booking links and copywriting. The optional care plan is $49/month, which covers menu and hours updates.

Can we update the menu ourselves?

Yes, or email changes to us on the care plan and we’ll do it for you.

Do we need a website if we’re on Instagram?

Instagram is great for showing your food, but it’s not where people look for hours, menus and directions, and not everyone has an account. A website gives you a place you control, and we link your Instagram from it.

Can people order online?

Yes. We link or embed the ordering or booking system you already use.

Will it help us show up on Google Maps?

Your Google Business Profile does most of that work. We tidy it, check your hours and categories, and make sure the site backs it up. Nobody can honestly guarantee a Maps position.

How fast can it be live?

Your homepage design arrives within 24 hours of the go-ahead, and the full site is live in 72 hours, assuming quick replies.
